Senior State 2012

We went down to St. George two weeks ago for the Utah Senior State Swimming Championships. Samantha swam so great, cutting time in everything and making the Top 8 finals in the 100 breaststroke. She took off a whole minute in the mile. So much fun to watch. We had a great time and the team won the championships!!

Valentine's Day 2012-Samantha

I didn't have time to take pictures of Samantha before she went to school so I texted her and asked her to have a friend take some pics with her i phone. This is what she came home with.

Valentines Day 2012-Scott and Amy

Scott with his Valentine's box. You think it looks like a pinata? That's exactly what it is and it was cheaper and easier!The morning was crazy trying to curl Samantha's and Amy's hair and do their nails. Amy's are bright pink with a silver heart on each thumb and a silver french tip on the other nails.
I found the idea for a Hershey Kiss box and Amy really wanted to do it so she and Marshall figured it out and it turned out so cute. She got tons of attention at school for it.
She got heart ear rings as a gift. We try to keep it low key.

I got roses, Amy got heart ear rings and a Hershey's w/ almonds, Samantha got heart ear rings and a cookies and cream and Scott got red vines and a Lego Star wars something. Marshall was out of town and got sunglasses early as a gift.

And then about 2 feet away from her, I saw Scott lying under the coffee table watching a show. I just had to take pictures, though Scott wasn't too pleased about it.

My Cookbook Collection

When we moved in we found out that our microwave was too big for the cabinet space so we had to put it on the counter instead. Marshall suggested I put my cookbooks in the space instead. I love having them right there where I need them, though I have more on a shelf in the basement because there wasn't room for all of them. These are my favorite ones. It is the perfect spot.

I think Scott

must be the happiest kid I know. He runs out from school everyday and almost always has a smile on his face.
