These are the cookies

I made for Channa's annual cookie exchange. Red Velvet Whoopie Pies. They turned out to be quite tasty, though I added another 1/2 tsp. vanilla and 1/2 tsp. salt. Marshall helped me make them, even going to the store and getting the super cute containers to take them in. He also tied the bows. I had a great time visiting with friends and eating lots of yummy food. Samantha went with me and got to hang out with some old Lehi friends. I'm already looking forward to next year.

Fathers Day?!?

yes, this is the last post to catch up and it goes all the way back to fathers day. Well, the day before fathers day. We went shooting with my dad and then took him out to lunch at a small BBQ place in Payson. He got to shoot his new pistol for the first time and I got to try it too. I still like the old one better. It's not as powerful so it's easier for me to use.

Beehive State Finale Swim Meet

was in July. Scott and Amy swam. Amy did outstanding. Cut tons of time and got lots of top 3 finishes.

Lexi's Wedding

Marshall's Niece Lexi got married in August. Not sure why I don't have any pics of her but these are the cute and colorful shoes she wore.

Mimi so Mimi. Amy's nickname has become an adjective. Depending on the day, it can mean cute, sweet, naughty, smart, clueless, etc. Only I can determine what it means.

Baby Reagan

She was born in August. Milton and Stephanie's youngest. So cute, but she always seems to cry whenever I hold her. It makes me glad that I am the aunt and can hand her back to her mom.

Oktoberfest

At Snowbird. Very expensive for mediocre German food, but fun none the less. My camera battery died so I only have a few shots, but we had a lot of fun. I probably won't bother going again. It would only be worth it if you like drinking extremely large steins of beer, but that's not really our thing, though it was fun to watch.
