After Santa Barbara, we were the most excited about getting to San Francisco. It's been over 20 years since I was last there, so I was looking forward to it. We got a few pics as we first pulled in of the kids with the Golden Gate Bridge,
Alcatrazand homes in San Francisco.
We headed down to Fisherman's Wharf to get our tickets for Alcatraz and strolled around checking out the stores.
We stopped in front of the Hard Rock Cafe and got some pics, but our dinner plans were to go to China Town, of which I have no pictures. We ate at nanking's and had fabulous food. Scott loved the dumplings so much he asked me if we could try making them after we got home. (we did, and though not perfect, still yummy).
More of Fisherman's Wharf.
Amy was excited to see this store for Left Handers.
I hadn't seen these since I was a kid. Candy Cigarettes. I thought they had stopped making them, but apparently not.
We had to get a picture of the "painted ladies", the most photographed site in San Francisco.
We also drove down Lombard Street, the crookedest street in the world.
And of course no trip to San Francisco is complete without clam chowder in sour dough bread bowls.
