It's that time again. Birthdays are back. First off was Samantha's 17th. I cannot believe she is so grown up. Makes me feel so old. Marshall and I checked her out of school and took her to lunch and then out shopping.
We had a birthday dinner at home with an ice cream cake from Cold Stone.Scott and Amy got her new running clothes, which she practically lives in when she's not at school. She had to go to young women's that night, so we hurried through dinner, but a bunch of the girls came back home with her when it was over and finished off her cake. It was the perfect ending for her big day.
We also took Amy shopping for her birthday. More running clothes. Scott wasn't as excited about the shopping.
Everyone was excited for lunch. We went to Red Lobster! Samantha and Amy split an admiral's feast. Such yummy food.
That night we made sushi for dinner, one of Amy's favorites. I'll have to get the pics off her phone. I also made her a cheesecake, per request. It was one of the best cheesecakes I have ever had, if I do say so myself. We finished off the day with a movie at home. So much fun. Amy really loved her birthday.
We capped off the week with dinner at my parent's house. Michael and David also had their birthdays the same week. More cake and more presents. Can't complain about that!
