Zions Part 1

There are a lot of pics here. We stopped at Zions on our way to Vegas for Tiffanee's wedding with Milton and Stephanie and kids. The first day we did a very short hike of the Narrows. The water was freezing and Scott slipped and fell in. Dinner that night was pricey, but very good. I had swordfish and Marshall, Samantha and Amy had Filet Mignon with bernaise sauce topped with shrimp. Not being a steak fan, I have to say that was one of the best steaks I've ever tasted. I don't have any pics from the Narrows or dinner, which is too bad because they also had a museum of animals that had been stuffed. A polar bear, wolves, elk, deer, grizzly bears, just to name a few. Very fascinating. Austin decided that Scott was a very cool cousin (Samantha and Amy being a little too girly) and he followed him around relentlessly. Of course, we thought it was adorable, but Scott didn't think so. He isn't one for younger children and definitely doesn't like babies. He suffered through it though. He was really into taking pictures with his camera. On our way back from hiking to the Emerald pools the next day he saw a deer and took a really nice picture of it. After we got back he came home from school with a book he had written and asked if I would print off his pictures to put in the book. It was titled "A Boy Who Saw A Deer."
